Don't do it! P heads are great for this application. I have em on mine. Flipped shorties are better with the Ps. I have a bunch of photos of the same flipped headers on both. Also, with the Ps, you use 90 degree angled plug wires and everything fits against the valve cover, No floppy loose burnt wires. My car is making nice power even on an incomplete dyno run.
