Hellion Pricing??

I checked out Hellion Turbos website and I can't seem to find any pricing for their basic fox body turbo kit. Does anyone know where I can find this info? Thanks, Pat.

Thanks, not exactly cheap, but you do get everything and I am sure it would cost more to make the same power N/A.

They will knock off some if you already have the injectors, MAF and fuel pump.

Just picked mine up at NMRA for $4750. That is their event pricing, and of course there's no shipping.

The Hellion kit comes with a Turbonetics 62mm turbo, bar-plate intercooler, all stainless steel piping (visible pipes are polished), all your clamps, hardware, zipties, heat wrap, oil lines, etc., Turbonetics Evolution wastegate, mitsu BOV, 255 lph fuel pump, C&L 76mm MAF & FMS 42lb injectors. It's a complete kit, with everything needed for the installation.

Other items I'd like to get for the kit...

-MSD 6AL, or maybe BTM
-Regulator with a boost reference
-EGT sensor and gauge
-Gauge pod for the center AC vents
-Better clutch
-Possibly some sort of straight through muffler to run a single exhaust pipe under the car

I'm wrestling with the idea of doing all this myself. This would be by far the most difficult install I've ever attempted personally. A buddy of mine has a shop here in town where he has done a ton of turbo installs, but of course it would cost me about $600-$700 to have him do it. The perk to him doing it, is the fact that he is the most thorough mechanic I've ever seen. And with an investment like this, I sure want to make sure it's done 100% top notch.

Just for reference...here's what the kit is going on...

The headers with the Hellion kit are not stainless.

I'd install all that stuff if I was you, it is not terribly hard. Hardest part might be getting a fitting put in for the EGT gauge since those normally are welded in although I'd think you could pay the turbo kit company to put that in for you.

This is from Hellion's site...

Revolutionary system retains factory smog pump and A/C lines, installs without cutting body

System includes:

Turbonetics Turbocharger (1 year warranty)
Stainless Steel hot and cold parts
High flow air to air intercooler
High flow Tial or Turbonetics wastegate
Relocation bracket for smog pump and alternater
Silicone hose kit
Stainless T-bolt clamp kit
By pass valve
Oil feed and drain lines
Stainless steel, graphite insert exhaust gaskets
All other necessary hardware to install kit

Snipe, why would "Stainless steel hot and cold parts" not include the headers?

I'm still debating on what to do about the install. I guess I'm only skeptical due to the fear of catastrophic engine failure if I screw something up.

Headers are SS Bassani, and polished or ceramic, can't tell from the pics.

When I PM'd John Urist about the kit a month or so ago, I was told the headers were mild steel and the other tubing was stainless.

The only mentioning of stainless I saw on both pages was the Bassini stainless steel header gasket.
