Stainless steel or mild steel tubing with turbo's

I see that alot of turbo kit makers offer a stainless steel upgrade over the normal mild steel.

Does stainless hold up that much better under boosted applications that it is better than mild steel ? or is mostly for looks ?

If they do not normally do much stainless for their kits then I would stick with the mild steel. If stainless is not done correctly it will lead to crack city. For examples of it done correctly look at a lot of people who have been running TTI or T/E kits for YEARS and never had a single issue with their kits. A thick mild steel kit that is coated will usually last longer than most people will have their cars.
