turbo help

I'm sure ya'll get this question all the time but i'm thinkin of turbocharging my 91 5.0 aod and i was wanting to know what is the best setup to run around 10 psi, like intake manifold,gears,etc. any help would be appreciated thanks keegan p.s. i want the car to be a highway and quarter mile car

Keep everything the way it came from the factory. Call hellion or b&g and put yourself a turbo kit together. See if you have the will-power to keep the boost low enough not to split your stock block.

I've read, and browsed alot through here and turbomustangs, and from what i've seen there is no real 'best' combo, but if you plan on building a motor for it, alot of people use twisted wedge heads and a small cam (e cam is popular in mild setups) 2.73s, 3.08s, and 3.27s are popular gear ratios. And like braxton said, get ahold of hellion or b&g they can both help you out alot more than I can.

91 lx hatch. Performer heads, Performer 2 intake, 1.7rrs, tfs 1 cam, pullied a-trim with power pipe, long tubes, orx pipe, and a magnaflow catback, [email protected] on 17" Nittos.
