maximum compression ratio

I'm going turbo. I have Ross 99502 pistons, which I think is about 10 to 10.5:1. What's the max you would run? I'm looking at about 500rwhp with a set of TW heads / carb'd 306. Maybe 8-10 psi range.

If these would not work, what piston would be best for twisted wedge heads?

If you are going to be intercooled, you should be able to get away with 8-10.

Just tune it imediately.

Well, you're gettin' up there in compression. Ideally, you'd want to lower it a bit.

But if you want to use those pistons, I'd just mix in some high octane gas in there and let her rip.

Sweet. Just what I wanted to hear. I've sort of changed my plans a little. Instead of the 306, I'm just going to put together a 351. I can achieve my 500-550rwhp with less boost and be in even better shape on the CR.
