if it was me, spend a few buck's and buy some copper header gasket's.......i have tried 4 different types and the copper seem to last the longes........ as far as sparkplug's go, just go with a set that is 2 step's colder and gap them at .032.........you'll be good to go...........if you need any help, just get ahold of me at insanemustangs.com, i will gladly help guide you through your installation..........hotwheels

I don't even use em, just a smear of the high temp silicone, 2 steps colder on the plugs.

That high temp silicone works that well?? How about on a exhaust flange (the rounded type with a bell mouth on the tube)? I don't get a perfect seal there and I was thinking of using that silicone.

i tried the high temp, but my mac shorties that i use don't have the full flange and the fugger start's leaking really bad..........i found that the copper header gasket's for 19 bucks, solved that problem till i can build a new set of headers.....
