Mandrel bent xhaust tubing ok to use as pipes for I/C

Hey, Just bought the g/f an intercooler for her 86 turbo coupe. its off an older volvo and i was wondering to pipe it in, can i use thoes u and j bends you can get from jegs. i was gunna weld em up, but wa wondering if it was ok ??? I cannot afford nice polished aluminumk pieces so this is the next best thing


90 lx 5 speed... 10.5 @ 136 stock bottom end and cam... ford junk !
