Smile long drive out to pro turbo kits

I leave on Sat night to San Antonio to enter my 97 cobra into PTK's donor program... Its a hellova haul, so any random prayers for a safe smooth trip would be appreciated.

Cool. The guys over at PTK are awesome. I can look in on your car from time to time if you like. I live about 5 minutes away from their shop. I'm hoping to have mine tuned next week once I put in my 55 lb injectors. Where are you driving from?

Mike

Thanks LS1 LMT!

I went with the T-66 and .81 a/r. Not tuned just yet, putting in the 55 lb injectors this weekend. Even still, I start seeing boost at 1800 rpm with max boost by 2800. I'm curious to see if the Boost controller improves that (it goes in this weekend too). Even with the 3.08 gears and only 3/4 throttle, spins the 315 Nitto drag radials in third fairly readily with 8 lbs of boost, now it's time to go for 12 lbs..

Wesley.... isn't the GT 40 turbo like the really nice fancy one?

That should be pretty sweet. Did PTK give you an idea of how long it would take?
