My Boost gauge is not working!

Hey guys, I just installed today my boost gauge, and its not working. I connected everything as the instructions say, but my car wont see any boost. I plugged it into the manifold, I gave it a 12v power source for the illumination, but it just isnt working.

Any ideas?

well its on the car yes, but is not connected to the inlet pipe. But I should read some boost at the intake, since it is after all a PT120 tyrbo with motec exhaust, porsche injectors/computers and a blo thru FMU. Im shooting for 1000whp on pump gass

yeah, 87 octane gas.. a guy that has a 9 sec street car told me he uses pump gass, so I guess it should be ok for my 10 sec ride.
Everybody knows racegas is the same as 93 octane.

connect the boost gauge to the spare tire in the trunk so it looks like you're always getting like 1000psi

I think it would show like 45psi because the spare tire does not hold 1000psi, that is just unrealistic.

How do you run 1000 hp on pump gas? I would like to do this but dont know what injectors to get. I hear the 160lb injectors are good for 1000+hp.

I think he was talking about pump gass which is not pump gas. You would beed a medium impedance 89.73 injector.

I have a 1000 psi boost gauge if anyone wants it. It also reads an infinite # for vacuum, which makes the guage look really cool

ok, I fixed it. I did the tire mod. I connected it to my Pep Boys Futura GTX Ultra High Performance tires and immediately had 45 psi, even at idle. Boos doesnt drop or anything.

Im going to the local track today. Wish me luck.

Oh, and tell me more about that gauge, I want more boost.

He should run the 1/4, but not the 1/8. 1/8 mile is gay.

The guage is kinda big with all those #'s, can't zoom out far enough with my digi camera to get all of it. Sorry.

Sounds like your tires are too big and make too much boost.

who is this Clement guy? is he the one everybody talks about in other forums? Is he as gay as they say he is? is he really banging nestromo?

Today I beat a 98 Suzuki Swift. It was a close race, cause my boost kept going lower and lower. I guess I should buy one of those flat tire inflators...

Guys, lets stay on topic here and show some brotherly love. If we do not watch it, things will get bad in this thread and it will just give us a worse name as a community.

I'm sorry Mr. Wizard man. Sometimes it's just so hard to get along with people when they don't look like you. Now I see how important it is that we put our differences aside and unite as a people. That will make it much easier to kick out A55H0135 like Mr. MORA.
