Which blow off valve?

Hey guys I need a blow off valve for my PT120 turbo project. I saw one in Ebay. The seller told me that it would blow more air than a bean burrito eating contet, what did he mean?

Also, I have a friend with a 1995 civic and a SRB29DETTT engine. he says that if I conect my blow off valve to my a/c compressor and then to the intercooler, I will get at least 25 hp from the cold air charge..is true?

Oh.. What is exactly a DSM blow off valve? is it another kind of blow off valve? how much boost does it put out? can I install one in my PT120?

i have some many questions.. please help me.. Im competing agaisnt a friend who has an 1981 mustang police interceptor model. the one with the supercharger sticking from the hood.
its cool. he said he beats black chargers with it.

Correct and since the DSM is like half the sized motor, you will need two.

ohh, but the DSM is 2.0 liters and I have a 5.0 liters, I should need 2 1/2 blow off valves. Can I just put 3 valves?

Tough one, problem is if you put 3 then you will get past your surge limit for the FMU. Best to just cut one in half and have 2.5 on there.

ohh.. I see, so the FMU doesnt go past its surge limit or it will shatter the diaphram inside the messaging module.

Can it be milled down to a 1/2?

I think you will need to use a saber saw for a DSM unit due to the material the unit is made out of.

damn.. I didnt do the 5 de mayo mod! missed a great opportunity.

Im connecting the blow off to the power seats air bladder. When I fill it up it takes too much time to loose pressure. So im installing (not a regular DSM blow off) a nissan skyline blow off valve. Isnt it awesome?

Will my PT120 fill the power seat air bladders fast enough for immediate comfort?

No, well it can if you hook it up to just one seat, but not enough for both seats.

This is the best

I've got 2 1g blowoff valves for sale, 1 is ported and clipped, the other is mostly stock except for the o2 housing was opened up. I think the both of them would work for your application. Let me know!

****, I think that guy is for real. If he is for real, no I won't buy them since I already bought 2 supra twin turbo blow off valves since 2 twin turbo blow off valves should flow enough for my PT120 turbo.

twin turbo (blow off valve + 30psi PT120) = quad turbo blow off valve super extra system, with more cleansing power now!

Ill make mad powa!!

Another important thing you don't want to overlook is a set of hood pins for your car. With the amount of air being released by those blowoff valves, you could easily launch your hood into the air. Remember, safety first.

Hood pins? who said I was running a hood? didn't you see F&F? fast cars dont need hoods. Also, since the PT120 is huge, im not running a radiator. need cooling.

Good idea!

The nice thing about not running a hood is that the heads cool off so much faster (with all that ambient air rushing past them).

oh,, still trying to sell these blowoff valve thingy's

I was talking to a freind who has a Ford Zetec Vtec Gtech engine. He said he has the most HP/Gallon, how much HP/Gallon would I have? Could I fill a lake with all the HP/Gallon that my engine will make with the PT120?

I just read that the best setup would be to use the WRX blowoff valve/valves if your going to run twins. According to the post they flow much more cfm due to the exhaust valves 23 degree angle and dual spings. Not only that, but instead of the traditional pshhhhh sound, this one makes a pshhhhhoff sound. Much cooler!

you can get all kinds of BOVs. Its you pay for what you get. If you buy one off of another car thats dumb. why do you think he sold it? he needed a better one. if you plan on making any kinds of boost you will need a big nice BOV. I have an HKS BOV. you need a good one. With that tubo what waistgate are you running?

well Snipe, maybe after you finish it you can send it over to japan and trade it for an R33.

Afraid to run a skyline? please. Even though they are great cars, they are not what most people think they are. Its like those damn supras, small powerband.

Supras? nope. They are only fast in 4th gear and up, if they have a single.

Most supras dont leave the line that well cause most fast ones are singles and have a narrow powerband, also its hard to load their small engine with a big turbo..
