Incon manifold hardware??

The old header bolts are too short. Cant use a regular bolt becuase the hex in too large. I found an allen bolt that fits but very hard to get at to tighten. We didn't get any hardware when he bought the kit used. So what are you suppose to use for hardware? If I could get some bolts with a smaller head on it that would be great. No one around here has anything like that. Anyone have some ideas?

I got my kit used also and the bolts that came with it are 3/8 by 1 1/4" they are ARP's stainless steel and have the 12 point heads (3/8" wrench) and about 5/8" dia. at the head.

I don't have the part #, but you should be able to find them on the website www.arp-bolts.com/

BTW even these bolts are a pretty tight fit to the manifolds. A 1/4" drive swivel socket works well here.

Just get the 12 pt header bolts. Get the longer ones to make up for the thick flanges on the manifolds. The bolts has a lip (not part of the 12 point) that you will have to grind down a bit to make some of them fit

Yes, those are the same size I used. All thread, like the 4th one's from the left in the pic.

I also got some washers to use with them, 3/8" ID 5/8" OD -- ARP #200-8554 . After putting on the manifolds I can see why you need the 12pt heads, not much wrench clearance in some places.

Instructions

Do any of you have instructions for your kits? I have most of the parts to put mine together, but I am missing some parts, and am wading through others.

let me know.
