Stockblock, Medium-Sized Turbo, Small Shot of Nitrous

Could anyone help me out with my setup? I'm looking to pull off a single turbo setup (medium sized turbo) with a small shot of nitrous to pretty much eradicate the lag time. I have a 5.0 HO block that i took out of a 89 GT that was setup for drag sprints, it ran high 12s and I tore it down. Got the block machined, new plugs and bearings, have the roller-rockers that go with the cam still all in order. Just need to get some pistons, rings, bearings, fasteners, intake and carb. Everything else is going to be reused (i.e - waterpump, alternator etc).

The question is, what compression ratio do I want for my setup and what is a safe bet -- power wise.. that I should aim for?

Thanks Much,
