Building Started.. Need block info plz (long)

I have started to build my turbo mod motor..... I have however made changes.. I am not going to throw this on my current gt motor bc I just picked up a supercharger However, I am goingo to make something a little more radical.. I am in the process of trying to get some FR500 heads (basically a ported 32V cobra head) but the turnaround is 2 months..... I found some new ones with valves and seats for 1500 a pair so I jumped on it. My next step is finding a block.. I am trying to keep this under 10K with everything-so I was wondering... Do you think a @V SOHC new block would be able to dold 700RWHP without a problem?? I found one for 200 shipped.. Would a 2003 cobra block be worth it or stronger?? I don't know anything about the new cobra blocks so maybe you do. My goal is to try to get a turbo at 15psi and have it last at least 2 seasons without tearing motor apart. Any suggestions??

I believe the 03 Cobra block is cast iron just like the GT block...

The 03 Cobra block and Windsor 2V block are essentially the same strength. In other words, I wouldn't spend the extra coin to get a 03 Cobra block. Buy the 2V block and keep a safe tune on it.
