Question JY single turbo using Turbo diesel unit?

I was thinking of trying to use a 1994 Ford 7.3L turbo diesel turbo in a single turbo setup on a stock 5.0L. Would it work, if so would it spool up in a desireable powerband? I think the A/R is 1.0.
Or would it be better to do a t3 TT kit?
Thanks
Steve

Either one will work good. It depends on if you want a big single or a set of twins. Either one will make more than enough power to split the stock block. And they have both been done before. I say go with the T3's, but then again I'm a little biased..

I would suggest going with t3's or find a different single. The powerstroke turbos are not "clockable" (you cannot reposition them) and are difficult to make work in the small confines of mustang engine bays. The dodge Holsets are a better choice, or any T04B or T04E would work.

I really like my single setup. It's proven to be very reliable, and very powerful. One day I would like to try a twin setup.
