It is, it's on a bone stock AODE mustang and I'm pushing only 7lbs. of boost, so the fun is limited, but is still much better than stock. Can't wait to get some more much needed mods to get it to a much more respectable performance (you know how doggy stock sn95 mustangs are).

What's next (When I can afford it):

Tranny cooler
Shift kit (I don't shift it under boost now)
Gear (3.23 or 3.55, can't decide yet)
Converter

Injectors
MAF sensor
Tweecer R/T
Nitto tires

Heads
Cam
Intake

Congrats and nice pics! I just recently installed the PTK T-66 kit on my 347, it is a nice kit. I'm still having some tuning issues, can't go full throttle without detonation.... that's with 8 degree base timing and the FMU giving max pressure per pound of boost. I'm seeing about 8 lbs of boost also. Still waiting for my boost controller. I will say this, even going only about 3/4 throttle in 3rd gear at about 60 mph still lights up the 315 Nitto drag radials out back! That's with my 3.08 gears. I think that you will enjoy your turbo kit! Now if I can only get this thing tuned.....

Impressive, at only 8 lbs of boost too. Just wait till you get the ping to go away and can turn the boost up.

What RPM does that t-66 spool up for you?

I actually start to see boost right at 1800 rpm, I have full boost by about 2800 rpm. I'm running the .81 a/r so it spools up pretty quick. The thing about your combo is that from here on out, every change that you make will give you big gains! I'll post some dyno numbers once I get some.

Blue95GT...

Are you still using the same 9.5:1 comp short block with the turbo? That is the same compression as my blower motor and I am thinking of going to a turbo; read they do better with a less than 9:1 c/r.

Dave...

I wish that I had your Boss block! Yes, it's the 9.5 compression shortblock. It's not ideal, but from the folks that I've talked with... it should still be fine even up to 12 lbs of boost. I guess I'll know for sure once I get on the dyno and start tuning with the wideband. Right about now, I am wondering about that compression though. Hopefully the tuning will do the trick.

I sometimes wish I didn't have this Boss block. The damn two piece rear main seal is driving me crazy...

Well, I just couldn't wait!!! I had to take it to the track!

My best time was a:

1/4 e.t.: 13.79
mph: 103.92
60 ft: 2.3144
1/8 e.t.: 9.0328

I can't believe I ran that high of a mph, and a pretty decent e.t. The poor AODE just could not shift under power period. The above time was made with me letting off the gas between the 1-2 and 2-3 shift so the tranny wouldn't eat itself alive. According to my research, with that mph, I should be running at least mid 13's, and my 60 should be a little better for an automatic. Can't wait till the money comes for some mods.

I'm happy, I was expecting a low 14! Not bad, from a 15.3 to a 13.7
