5.o turbo motor trouble PLEASE HELP ME.

hey heres whats going on the car is running really hot the headers start glow after about 30 secs after cranking. runing really lean.
heres the specs on the motor i need help

306
forged pistons etc
tfs heads
t-62 turbo
gt 40 intake
pro-m 75mm
42 lb injectors
aeromotive mustang kitw/ 1/2 rails
comp cams turbo cam
digital 6 ignition
etc


its not the mass air cause i got a spare and that didnt work there are no vacuum leaks i checked twice
please help me i gotta get the car right for fun ford.

1) Make sure your base timing is set correctly. Also make sure whatever custom programming you may have done has enough spark lead down low.

2) Put a wideband on it and find out exactly what a/f it's running at before guessing that "it looks lean".

I could almost GUARANTEE that you're timing is too retarded....like he said, check your base timing b/c it's probably way to low...makes the headers glow every time as fuel is being burned in them....let us know what you find out

1 i dont need a wideband i can tell its running lean by my ex temp
checked the base timing its good right now its not reetarded at all cause i got race gas in it.now i think the spare pro-m sent me may be bad cause it started acting right. still not sure if thats what it is also ever since i put the tfs heads on there is like rust in my radiotor water neone know what that is thanks for any help you give me in advance

Could it be a timing/fuel problem related to a non-stock cam and speed density?
