Does anyone know if the turbo compressor housing itself has an airflow limit? I know the wheel controls much of the airflow, and that's what all the maps show, but I'm curious if a t04b .60 a/r housing has a limit of airflow it can handle. I'm trying to figure out if some of these people I talk to are full of crap about what there turbo is capable of.
the highest output t04b housing setup i am aware of is w/ a 60-1 wheel. that flows about 55lbs a minute. i know that when you change it to a t04e housing w/ a 60-1 wheel you can pick up 5-10% more airflow.
Thanks for your reply Clement. Do you know if that is a .60 a/r housing they use. I know I have to use a .70 for an H3 trim compressor wheel. I'm just trying to figure out the flow limit of the .60 housing itself.
