Turbo for a 363

I have a Fordstrokers 363 with trickflow 190 11R heads and a trickflow R series intake with 75mm throttle body. Compression is 9.5 to 1.I'm considering going with a turbo on this build and was curious what size turbo I would need. The car is a street car and will be run on e85.

You won't need much of a turbo on the street, assuming the turbo is good quality. What you do really depends on your budget.

I had 205 heads on my 347 and ran 5.50's in the 1/8th mile through full exhaust with a Precision 7675 CEA T4 flange and a single 3" downpipe. I put Chinese heads on and it ran the same. It spooled instantly and was very manageable.

I changed to a S400 Borg 82mm FMW with a T4 Borg turbine housing and 4" downpipe and ran 5.30's.

The reason I'm telling you this is a lot of people will start suggesting a T6. Having been down this road trying turbo after turbo, a fair to good T4 is far more than you will ever use. It is also small, lighter weight, and with the correct build will spool about like it is NA.

Jose at Forced Inductions or YTS Turbochargers in Griffin, GA would be my choices, unless you can find a used PT 7675 or something similar. I sure would stay with a fairly good T4.

That's a real good turbo, the Gen II may be more than you want.
