Shorty Header vs Manifold

Will i notice a difference by going to shorty headers vs the manifold i built for my turbo system? Before i go and cut up my old system, just wanted to confirm i am going in the right direction.
I have been running 12-14lbs non intercooled with meth in the past, best run so far was a [email protected], 1.6 60 foot. Looking to go faster, just change out from a f303 cam to a custom 224/248 .576/.568 115 camshaft. Will now have a A/A intercooler this year.
331, afr 205/ vsracing 7875. 9.25/1 comp, c&s blow thru.
68 mustang fastback 3200lbs, 4 speed. 3.25 gear. Mainly street car with the odd weekend of racing 1/8, 1/4 and 100 footers. i also Autocross.

IMO, you're not losing much due to the headers. Could they be a restriction? Maybe. But I wouldn't waste $$ on different headers until you test the new combo. You've made a lot of changes that will help it make more power.

Decided to go with the shorty headers, already had them and it will take a few pounds off the car also.
Thanks for your reply.
