Can I run 8's

What do you think? Honestly is my car gong to run a 8.99 or faster, it weighs 3520 with me in it, and has a 363 with 11. to 1 compression, afr 205 cnc heads, solid roller cam, super victor intake and CSU blow through carb, i am running twin 70mm turbos with .68 exhaust housings, trans is a built aod-e with 4200 stall and 3.55 gears, suspension is UPR CM k member and strange adjustable strut up front, rear is UPR pro series rears with spherical bushings and 35 spline axles with spool, car has 10 point CM cage with rocker bars to help with flex. i am running c16 with 19* timing at around 19# boost. hoping i have done enough to get this car to move. please let me know if i have overlooked something that would help the car to get down the track.

Any previous time slip?
What tires?
Can you build boost off the trans brake?
With your compression and 19#'s you've probably already have a good idea of what power your making? Those Wallace calculators are fun to bench race with if you have realistic ideas.

If you can get that heavy pig to 60' good. Anything is possible.

As far as safety goes for that time slip. I'm guessing you're already 5/8" studs, hoop, pinion yoke, blow proof bell, cut off switch?

I would think that it would have an 8 sec pass in it. It would depend on traction and your compressor/turbine specs for that amount of weight. If you send me your build list, and specifics then I could run a simulation and give you a best case scenario for your combination. What happened with the 7675CEA you had some time back?

Sold it and went to a s480, then switched up it out again and went to the twin 70's, and have done all kinds of work to the car, suspension front and rear and lightened the car as much as i could and still be some what streetable. The exhaust housing on the 76/75 was just too small and i felt i need to relieve some back pressure. My car is almost finished and will start testing in November at SGMP, hope to have everything lined out before the Turkey rod run so i can hit the streets of Mexico for some action with the out of towners here. Lots of parts to recover from buying and their money will help. Nobody will look at my car and think it is what it is. make it down and relive the old Orange City days again. you can barely see the cage through the windows.

Oh okay, yeah I ditched my 7875 before I even put it on the car due to backpressure concerns. I've got a much larger turbine lined up now for it. And I get my short block delivered from Woody today. Then it's just small stuff, and putting it back together. What was the deal with the S480? Was it a stock unit? I've got a custom one that I'm putting on and I'm hoping it's the last turbo I buy for awhile.

Man, hell yeah I'd be down for a Orange City revival haha! I miss those days. Is Turkey Rod Run still as huge as it was 10 years ago? My junk won't be back together by November as I'm putting a cage in it, but next year for sure it'll be back on the road for sure.
