On3 boost question

I have the standard On3 70mm journal bearing kit. The WG has the spring in it that came from On3, I believe it's a 6psi spring. I have a Hallman MBC and I can crank it all the way and not see an increase in boost. It IS hooked up correctly. It makes 7 psi and holds it untill close to 6k rpm's where it creeps to 11 in third and fourth gear. The motor has a TFS top end kit, Systemax intake and open down pipe. Just wondering if anyone has had similar experience with the MBC not adding boost.

I would put a bigger spring in it. My grimmspeed controller does something similar but with 17psi.

Displacement is no replacement for boost

That was going to be my next move. I'm a little worried about creep with the 10psi spring. 10psi is what I'm wanting though.

If you have a lower spring in the WG wouldn't it open and bleed off boost? This meaning you shouldn't be able to adjust for more boost? If that doesn't make sense don't mind me in new to the turbo scene.

Spring pressure is the minimum amount of pressure you can utilize. the controllers can only increase boost from there by incrementally blocking the boost signal that opens the gate so that more boost is required to open it.
