e85+___boost= 500ish rwhp?

I am looking to get just under or over 500 rwhp on my stock block/ t-5 with hci and bolt ons. I am planning on getting a v3 si or an on3 67cbb and running e85. anyone have any experience with either of these set ups and how much boost and timing to achieve on or about those numbers with e85? I am leaning towards the turbo since changing springs is easier than pulleys. I am thinking 10 lbs should do the trick. I got deatschwerk 78s and a 340 both specifically for e85. Thanks guys

10lbs sounds pretty conservative for 500 on a stock 302. E85 lets you run more boost safely with more aggressive timing but it has a lower energy density than unleaded. If the 302 can do 10lbs on premium unleaded that's a lot easier than converting your whole fuel system and filling up more often

I made 461/548 to the wheels through a stock '86 long lock with 16psi. 93 pump gas.
A h/c/I long block boost should make 500+ on 10psi no problem. No need to start playing with e85

without a decent top end you're going to need closer to 20lbs for 500 rwhp. At that point, a 302s head gasket is a laughin matter..... I never had any luck going much past 12psi on a stock 302 with iron heads.

I mad 495 RWHP and 560 RWTQ at 10# of boost with a HCI car. It was actually just under 10#, 9.5 to be exact, but if I upped it just a little more, it would be right at 500.
