Borg Warner Turbo?

What are your thoughts on a Borg Warner S400sx75, turbine wheel is a 83mm with a 1.10 ar and t4 flange, its rated at 1050. It'll be going on a rebuilt stock F4TE 351w shortblock with FAC190 heads, fcam, gt40 lower/cartech upper. Also would my Ponydown Stg. 2 hot parts hold up?

Give Reed a call at Work Turbochargers Welcome to WORK Turbochargers!
He can recommend what would be best for your combo and goals.
I was running a base plain S475 with 96mm exhaust wheel and 1.32 a/r T6 housing on my 338. I made 800+ rwhp with it on my car. Good bang for the buck turbo. I now run a S476 that reed put together using my old S475 hotside.

5.33 at 134.9 on 26x8.5 in 1/8th @3380#

Jeff88coupe, how long did Reed take to send you your turbo? I ordered mine in April and I still haven't got it.

I would give him a call. I sent him my old S475 to be upgraded to a S476 back in the spring. Took him several weeks since he was having issues getting the 76mm cast compressor wheels from BW.

I have been calling him for months, he tells me all the time it should be ready in a week but never happens.

I'm not sure what to tell you. What turbo did you order from him? I assume you have paid him already for it? All I know is he bent over backwards to get my turbo upgraded and back to me in time for me to make my first points race of the season this spring. I know he told me he was promised by a BW rep a shipment of cast 76mm wheels from BW earlier this year..but then BW delayed releasing them to dealers.

I ordered a GT4718 from him, he was paid off in full in June, he sent this pic last week and that he would be shipping it out soon after he does some more machining, so hopefully I see it soon.

That sounds about perfect to me. I plan a similar build for round 2 of my street car..
