Head gaskets?

How much boost can I run before cometic head gaskets are a must? Looking into going turbo, and am just wondering how much boost is safe on my head gaskets. Combo is GT40 based with a Crane 2031, 75mm TB. Full dress street car. Never plan on going over 10 lbs, 6-8 DD on the street.

9333 pt1 head gaskets and ARP head studs. A good tune and you shouldn't have to worry about blowing head gaskets

Oh ok, just trying to figure it out. Who makes the head gaskets you mentioned?

Felpro. Should be stocked at one of your local auto parts stores. Best thing, they're only around $35/set.

Ok, thanks guys. This makes me feel better about it. And I won't have to put any copper sealant on them either, right? I've heard of some people doing that?

I used copper spray but have been told many times that it won't make a difference I think what makes all the difference is a solid torque on the bolts/studs. Don't skip out on that

Ok, thanks guys. What do you guys think about turbo kits? On the cheap, like on3 or the cxRacing?

Have heard good/bad things about the on3 kits, not sure about the cxracing kit. Most likely made in china - crap lol. A buddy of mine has a B&G Turbo kit & seems to be a pretty nice kit. Brian is also a good guy too if you have any issues.

Ok, I've read good/bad things about the on3 kit. Nothing but good about the cxRacing kit though. Not many people have them though. I've also looked at pony down, where can i find the B&G kit to read about it? I just like the cxRacing kit cause its all stainless on the hotside, and i know that mild steel will rust in the other ones.

stainless is more likely to crack. Thaats why on3 went to mild steel headers

Oh yeah, I didn't even think about it cracking. Makes sense now that you threw that at me. What is everyone's issues with the on3 kit other than the v-bands? I've heard the fitment is great in almost every case.
