Even though I lack a mullet or live in anything near a trailer i used the PVC. Only long enough to get me down the road 200 sumodd miles.

Don't know if it is cheaper but it is easier to install with the glue i am thinking. I think your sealing would be fine with a low boost testing

I used PVC cement and its holding together at 12 psi. As for the prices its about 4 dollars a container for glue. I also used PVC cleaner for a better connection and that ran another 6

FYI, 3" Schedule 40 PVC is rated for up to 158psi working pressure with a burst pressure of 840psi. If you went with schedule 80 (the gray stuff) it will work at even higher pressures. Schedule 40 can handle temperatures up to 140*F although the pressure it can handle becomes de-rated at that temperature by 0.2. Even still, it will handle 32psi at 140* F.

With that said, most turbo setups will not hurt schedule 40 or 80 PVC pipe. It may look like #### but it will work very well.

Again, it will look like ####.

@ujustlost Very good information to know! I used standard PVC pipe from Lowes the "white stuff". Held up real nice except the part coming right off the turbo got too hot and shrunk/deformed on me
