Remote rectifier

Heat has always caused problems with my charging system.
There is a company that makes a product called a quicktifier. It is another rectifier that is remotely located away from under hood engine heat, increasing the efficiency of the alternator. There is a video on youtube that explains it.

Seems like a solution to my charging issues. Anyone here have experience with this?
