what turbo for stock 5.0

looking to get a new turbo because the one on the car right now has lots of shaft play and is spitting oil out the down pipe,and was wondering what yall thought of these three options

stock on3 70mm turbo,master power/magnum 70mm,or precision 6676e....

stock motor with 1.7rr and explorer intake manifold.looking to push 10psi on stock heads,gaskets,bolts.

mp 70 dependable makes good power cheap.


I'm not a magazine racer, my car is actually fast.
I also have a Honda civic but, mine has a bigger, uglier driver.

On3 67mm ball bearing would get my vote.

1989 5.0 T5 LX Hatch - Explorer Short Block with an FMS F-303 cam, TFS TW170 heads, Tmoss Ported Cobra Intake, an On3 Turbo Kit with a 67mm Ceramic Ball Bearing Turbo, and backed by a T56 Magnum 6spd with 3.55's

anything from 62-70mm will run great and spool fast, stick with a .68 exhaust housing. I'd recommend a 70mm journal, if you go with a ball bearing you can get a smaller one.

You can find the on3 turbos on ebay for $350 shipped, they just don't say on3 on them! I bought mine from an ebay seller called fusionetics. They list it as having a 3.5 exhaust size but its really a 3 inch, only problem I had with them.
