Stock 4.6 2V makes 592HP for $2,298, Precision vs CX Racing, Air/Water E-Bay cooler

Just though this was an interesting read....

Found this on Hot Rod TV, thought it was pretty cool. Numbers are high bc its on a engine stand but still some impressive results on a stock 2V

The precision 76mm turbo made 638HP over the CX Racing turbo which made 592HP. Imagine if they used a billet wheel Precision turbo!

The cheap CX racing ATW done a pretty awesome job as well, 188-212 temps intering and never over 95 degrees exiting the tank using 74 degree water.

Is a atw intercooler better than a ata intercooler for a street car?


Stock block Bcam,gt40p,explorer intake 62mm turbonetics 12psi 42 pound injectors 340 pump all that extra jazz.
366/442 at 9psi
407/495 at 12psi

I don't think the hassle of mounting in the cabin and everything is worth it. Its better but not practical for a street car.

the a/w ic doesnt have to be inside the car. here are a couple examples

The inconspicuous '91 Mustang turbo build

88 GT twin turbo LS

ive also seen them mounted in front of the radiator

TWIN TURBO!! Because bottles are for babies and superchargers blow
megasquirt, 331, twin 66s, ported 205cc head, efi spyder intake, 160# injectors, e85
