losing boost after exhaust change

after my 3.5 downpipe install I lost 2 psi I bumped it back up to 12. today I replaced all the bends from downpipe to cut off with mandrel bent piping I lost another pound is this normal? Should I just bump it up back to 12?

Stock block Bcam,gt40p,explorer intake 62mm turbonetics 12psi 42 pound injectors 340 pump all that extra jazz.
366/442 at 9psi
407/495 at 12psi

also I had to tighten the bov screw to get the boost back up to 12


Stock block Bcam,gt40p,explorer intake 62mm turbonetics 12psi 42 pound injectors 340 pump all that extra jazz.
366/442 at 9psi
407/495 at 12psi

Boost is measure of restricton and back pressure. Just becuase boost went down doesnt necessarily mean flow/power went down. Less back pressure from the larger exhuast is jsut effecting the boost reading and wg operation. So make sure your a/f is still good when you up the boost back up.

Bumped it up again a/f at wot is 11.5 to 11.7

This guy said the exact same thing I was going to say. Which is correct.

S476 turbo E85,XFI, boost always 20+
