torque link

anyone out there using a torque link or strap on there turbo cars??

I had one on my old Kenne Bell setup. I needed it because the snout would hit my ram air hood. Worked awesome.

they work great and allows people to retain the stock motor mounts. find one with a shock absorber on it. if you already have solid mounts or even polyurethane, then i wouldnt bother with it though unless you plan on reinstalling the stock mounts

i had it on my supercharged engine and it has made its way to my turbo charged engine.

i live for 5.0 mustangs
i have alot of parts for 5.0 mustangs 87-93 pm me if you need something i may have it thanks

Did it fit without any issue's? Come to think of it. The header might be in the way of the swaybar bracket.

i have mine on the driver side mounted to the top on the sway bar bushing mount. it bolts directly to my driver side head. i have a tubular k member and im not running a sway bar just using the sway bar mount.
i have one similar to this

it makes it so the motor doesnt torque when you hit the accelerator. so i would assume it would help. every little bit helps right.

it helps transfer power straight to the wheels quicker. So yes it could improve 60ft times. Its just like adding solid mounts but without the teeth rattling vibrations
