Static/Dynamic compression ratios/ boost and 93 octane?

Well after doing some digging tonight I discovered that my compression ratio may actually be a bit higher than I had originally thought.

I thought it was stockish around 9.5:1....im now being told its probably more like 10~:1.

Anyways, I was looking into static vs dynamic compression ratio and theoretical boost limits on 93 octane.

According to the calculator my Static compression ratio is 10.2:1
Your dynamic compression ratio is 8.25:1 .
Your dynamic cranking pressure is 165.44 PSI.
Your dynamic boost compression ratio, reflecting static c.r., cam timing, altitude, and boost of 18 PSI is 18.35 :1.
V/P (Volume to Pressure Index) is 110

These are approximate numbers but you get the idea.

I saw somewhere that 93 pump gas would support around 20:1 dynamic compression ratio.

Is there any truth to this?

My compression ratio is almost 10.5:1 and I run 93 octane with 8lbs of boost. Does fine. I do plan on mixing a little 101 octane in it just for some added insurance.

Im not worried about 8 psi though lol....im talking about running 15-16 psi....

its a 2v 4.6 as well...if I was making the power your making on 8 psi I wouldnt be needing to bump the boost up so much haha

Yeah you might want to consider some high octane gas or a water/meth injection kit lol!
