2v turbo gurus...check out my combo...what's next?

So my combo has been together for awhile and working well. I just have not been able to hit the 700whp mark, just checking to see if there's an easy solution to this....I know its arbitrary, but its a goal I would like to achieve. It seems like it should have more in it.

284cid, iron block, Manley 4340 crank and rods, Probe SRS -18cc pistons, Patriot Stage 2 heads, Hitech cams that are designed for a roots blower because that's what was on the car when I bought it (232/230 duration, .550/.500 lift, 115LSA), Edelbrock Vic Jr intake, Accufab plenum and 80mm TB.

Original style On3 kit with factory manifolds, On3 76mm BB turbo with .96 a/r exhaust housing, SSS Adrenaline catback. TKO600 trans, stock rearend (!) with 3.27s.

Car has made a best of 679rwhp and 696rwtq, SAE corrected on a Dynojet. This is with a quick spike to around 22-23psi boost settling to around 20-21 at the top of the pull. I just have a basic Turbosmart MBC. This is at 15 degrees of timing on E85.

I have not tried more boost because I had an issue with blowing out spark, but I replaced/regapped my plugs and it went away. I hate to have to come close to 25psi to make the number I would like to see because it sounds like trouble, LOL.

Another local 2v car at a similar power level picked up around 40whp by dropping the catback, but that was a MAC catback that probably doesn't flow as well as mine, and I refuse to drive around with an open downpipe. This car is driven a lot.

Would a couple more degrees of timing get me there and still be safe?

more timing, better cams, put a cut out on it, or more boost if its just a # you want and then turbo it down after you hit that #, maybe change the boost controller to a better one?

or a better turbo. my offer still stands i have a brand new precision 78gts if you wanna bolt it on and find out what your missing for hp.

How about swapping out the Accufab plenum for a 6061...

More timing im sure is doable with e85. My vote is better turbo as well, that on3 76 turbo is out of breath for sure adding boost is just gonna add heat really at that level. Kris let me know if you want a killer deal on Comp billet wheel tripple ceramic ball bearing turbo.

Kris, that 6061 elbow would be a good start! Beyond that I'd say you're pretty close to Max that the turbine can flow. My t76 would get you there.

I bought a billet precision 71mm turbo with a 75mm turbine versus our 68mm wheels. I'll be curious to see how it works.
