Boost spike question

I'm running a 7 psi spring but the car will go to 10-13 before wastegate opens and then goes down to 7psi however by then it's time
To shift .
Is this because my vacuum source from turbo fitting to WG is too small?

I'm not sure on size but it's the fitting on the turbo housing and the fitting that came in the tial 46mm wastegate.

Tried a few diff size vacuum lines with same results. Could the waste gate valve be sticking then get forced up late

This is right from the Tial spring pressure chart....

Note: Boost pressures are only an approximation
based on intake manifold pressures equaling exhaust
manifold pressure.

Just because you have a 7psi spring doesnt mean you will get a true 7psi.

Many things could cause it.

When the wastegate opens it is very loud.the boost spikes high then when the wastegate obviously opens it pulls it down to 7 psi

I'm running wastegate boost source connected to the fitting directly on turbo housing. So I try running a different boost/vacuum source line?

off the turbo housing is ideally where you would want to source your vacuum/boost..

Ok running out of ideas now

Could my banjo bolt be restricting flow to the wastegate port if it's not lined up to flow right into the fitting sideport?
