Anyone got an aod? When in boost seems like trans smoke

93 forged bitten end built aod

Car does not slipp at all tires are roasting all day but when in boost trans will smoke a little trans fluid is good smells a little burnt any idea guys

I know on c4 transmissions they run a tube from the breather vent to a catch can for this, but not too sure on the aod.

who built the trans? Did you get the specs, clutch clearence? How many frictions did they stuff in? Convertor seated properly? Since its not a total disater like a pump/convertor failure, id lean towrads clutch dragging and slowly burning up.

I have a fresh AOD in mine and no problems so far, no smoke or anything out of the tranny. I have a cooler on it and thats about it, I did remmeber the convertor was tricky to get seated right tho.

I got it seated all the way back I think it was the exhaust smoke now

How did you guys set idle with auto I use to have a five speed till I sheared 3rd off
