whats faster

i have 3.73 gears in my car now. with my s/c setup they worked pretty well. would going to like a 3.27 or 3.55 be better for a turbo set-up and why? what one would make you faster in the 1/4

i have 3.73's on my car right now and its useless thought 1,2,3 gear. No i have not ran it at the track yet (way to hot here) but on the street all it does is blitz my E.T STREETS at 5-6 pounds. i am going to go with 3.27's to see if that helps.

on drag radials im doin fine with not spinning. i was just wondering if the load is better

i did see that thread.

what i dont understand with my s/c set-up i have 3.73 and at the end of the 1/4 mile i'm in top of fourth. lets pretend i make the same power turbo wouldnt i want to keep the same gear? or will going to 3.27's make me faster in the quarter

S/C and turbo car gearing are completely diff. It has been covered many many times in here, likely 20 threads on it haha.

last questions would 3.27 be ok i have a t5z tranny or would 3.55 be better for 60ft

Np man!

On a street/mild combo I think the 60' change would be minimal...tons of factors. Suspension setup, 2 step, tire size/type etc...
