Blow Thru MAF

How often should the MAF sensor be cleaned on a blow thru setup? Its a PMAS type. Also what kind of symptoms will a dirty sensor have? Thanks.

Could not being squared up in the pipe cause a lean condition. Meaning that the motor is actually getting more air than what the sensor thinks it's getting? Thanks.

It is possible but it depends on HOW lean.. Im sure it will make a slight difference but if it is REALLY lean then that is prolly NOT the issue.

when is it lean ? idle, cruise, WOT ?

the best results I had was by making it so there were NO bends before or after the MAF for at least 6in. More would be even better.
