blown head gasket??

I think I may have a blown head gasket now. Motor is not smoking and no milk in the oil. However I just put new plugs in and it's still missing some. More the longer I drive it. I pulled them and noticed some were darker and more of a weird yellow color. Could it be that I have water slightly leaking into the cylinders? I also noticed that my water level was down some but wasnt sure if it just leaked out the cap. What is a quick way to test? Use the test kit to check coolant for carbon monoxide? If so does auto zone sell it? Also what are good cheap head gaskets for a exploder long block? I used FMS type before. I don't remember the part number.

Well I went and rented the carbonmonxide detector. Pulled the cap fired up the engine and crap I couldnt even let it get too warm. It was pumping out the coolant even after letting quite abit spill out. So time for a tear down now. What gaskets do you all recommend? Felpro 9331PT1???. Thanks for the help.

Felpro 9333pt1's and ARP head studs. If you blew a hg with 10psi you likely have a warped head, warped deck, a problem with your tune or you got some bad fuel.

Well pulled the driver side head. Low and behold my suspision was right according to the color of the number 6 and 7 plugs being way richer than the rest. Sure enough the water jacket was leaking into those 2 cylinders while under boost. Rubber around the water jacket hole on the gasket was missing. This was using the Ford motorsports head gaskets. Time for some Q9333's. I will be pulling off the passenger side today and will post results. This was probably my problem breaking up slightly under boost all along..Would do it more when the engine was hotter. It all makes sense now. Im posting this so others can use my headache as a learning tool.

Make sure you check the block and heads for straightness. You may have problems with those p heads. Some guys can never get them to stay down.
