could on3 brand turbo make exhaust tone different??

just wondering if on3 brand turbo makes exhaust tone different then other brands like master power.


only reason i ask is because my car sounds like poop. im running magnapaks

it almost sounds like a v6. i even got asked twice. lol

decel it sounds really bad.

It's the magnapack dude, worst sounding mufflers ever, especially on decel.

i had borla stingers they sounded even worse but they sounded great n/a


what muffler would you recommend

Wow you think so , here is mine back in the days when I was stock at 8 psi.

Voodoo racing innovation built 4v , powerglide, borg warner s475 at 29psi, custome turbo kit , pro efi ecu, Aeromotive fuel pump, aeromotive fuel rails, id 1000 injectors, e85. Best to date 1.36 60'
Best pass to date 8.92 at 156mph. Best 1/8 mile 5.6at 127 mph.

2002mustanggt - at that point didnt you have a master power????


also mine does sound fine at wot. just decel. and half throttle pulls. sound like poopy

Dynomax bullet muffler. I love mine and it still sounds mean like a na car.

looks like ill be trying them next. i hope they sound good on my car!!!!!!!!!! should i go with 2 2.5 inch mufflers or run 1 three inch?? what would sound better. i would put straight pipe in where 2.5 mufflers would be.

I did have MPT70 but any turbo will change the way exhaust sounds. Magnaflow Magnapack FTMFW !!!


Voodoo racing innovation built 4v , powerglide, borg warner s475 at 29psi, custome turbo kit , pro efi ecu, Aeromotive fuel pump, aeromotive fuel rails, id 1000 injectors, e85. Best to date 1.36 60'

Yeah sounds not so good when you let off . What can it be , you might have too much back pressure on your exhaust, Do you have valve springs? how many psi?

10 psi on stock springs might be your problem. You might have bad exhaust pressure . Trust me mafnapack sounds ####ing awesome.

i think the tone is changing due to a single 3in off the turbo. then spliting back to 2.5 to the cat back. i wonder how it would sound if i get a 3in muffler. (dynomax race bullet.) and just run that. then get rid of the 2.5 cat back

because if i did that it would eliminate the y-pipe that right before my cat back.

any input guys?? thanks brett
