331 stroker ion stock block good idea??

So what do you guys think of going with a 331 stroker

If it is getting boosted, I would just stay with the 3" stroke. Im not one to put money into a stock block though.

How fast are you wanting to go?

I did it for a long long time, but was lucky.

I would likely just do a 306 and save some $$ if I were in your shoes.

car is bored .30 over right now. but i did blow my piston up. i just want to hit the 10s....

10s is np on a 306

10"s on even a stock motor isnt a problem. I personally would stick with a 306 if using a stock block.

1990 Notchback stock bottom end , TW's , F cam , Systemax and 66mm in the works.

Keep rpm down.. But it's alot of $$$ with no insurance...
It's not like your in a stock block class..
