Where to drill and tap the oil pan?

Where should i put the oil feed and return lines on my oil pan? I will be running twins so i need 2 lines on each side of the oil pan. Do i need flanges for the oil pan or can i just drill and tap the pan to accept the lines?

If you tap the pan, you will need to drill a .25in hole then use a tapered punch. That will give enough "meat" to make a few threads with a 3/8npt tap. A better idea is to remove the pan and have a couple bungs welded on.

oil feed should tee from where your oil guage hooks up from, and I think the drains go at the second pan bolt back about 1.5" down. It's got to be above the oil height. Check on Vortech's website
