Moost boost on pump gas

91 octane gas

9.1:1 compression

4.6 motor forged bottom end.

Whats the most boost I can run on 91 octane?

Also methanol a good option? Like reliable enough for a daily driver?

I'm at 11-12 psi on 91 octane, 20 on 100 octane. 12 psi still makes 550rwhp

Voodoo racing innovation built 4v , powerglide, borg warner s475 at 29psi, custome turbo kit , pro efi ecu, Aeromotive fuel pump, aeromotive fuel rails, id 1000 injectors, e85. Best to date 1.36 60'
Best pass to date 8.92 at 156mph. Best 1/8 mile 5.6at 127 mph.

Supercharger FTL, go turbo and you will pick up 100-150 rwhp with same psi you running with supercharger.

There are a couple factors to consider. 9.1:1 is static compression. Dynamic compression is the number that counts and is affected by static compression, the cam, valve train timing etc. Also 91oct can vary a little. I work in the oil industry and have seen it first hand. Methanol works well but there are potential problems. Clogged nozzles, motor pumping pressure, etc. I got a friend who ran the snow kit on the street and had all sorts of problems that he didn't know about till he heard detonation. Imo run conservative boost level or get it tuned with 91 then run a couple gallons of 100 as a safety margin.
