A picture of the kit installed would help as well a price range.

if the air coming in the inlet of the turbo is 200 plus degree's now, and with this setup your drawing in ambient air temps of under 100, how wouldnt it?

Thats what I was asking you?I think its a good idea, but how much does the temperature drop after the intercooler compared to inlet temps.Does it even matter in a turbo car seeing as the air is getting compressed and heated up at the same time. Is there a rule of thumb so to speak of the heat generated by being compressed?Does it always heat to the same temp?

In theory, the cooler the inlet air charge, the cooler the outlet air charge. but lots of variable's to it really.
thats another bit of testing i wanna try out. mainly iat at the TB is what im going for on real world testing.(same day, same car, driving it, logging temps during a wot run).

i think youll find there is a non-linear relationship between the ambient temp and the intercooler outlet temp.
At some stage they are equal, then as the ambient temp air increases, the outlet air is somwhere in between.
If ambient air temp is hot, outlet air wont be hot, but it wont have as much cooling affect as if ambient was cooler.

Folks, sorry but this is really considered advertising but a non authorized advertiser of the board even though On3 is an advertiser that really does not mean that an outside company can start soliciting potential business for items for those On3 kits.
