On3Performance 4v Turbo Dyno Numbers

Ok guys so I drove the car 7 hours from TN to Fort Mill SC the day after the car started. Pro-Dyno tuned the car this morning and the car made 445rwhp and 430rwtq @ 9lbs of boost in 94 degree heat.
I have a couple exhaust leaks I gotta track down and fix when I get back from Mustang Week next week but other then that I am happy and just have some minor things I need to work on to get her perfect.

ill say this.... FIX THEM....

In my experience bad exhaust leaks affect spool up time and I think even power...

I thank 2002mustanggt for helping me fix mines I went from probably 50% exhaust leaks to 99.9 exhaust leak free

Thanks guys, I have v-band gaskets in all my hotside already so I may have to have a couple of the pipes modified to fit a little better and not open up the gaps.

And yes Pro-Dyno is some great people. Dan the tuner helped me out all week getting my car started while the shop was closed and he was on vacation. I highly recommend them to anyone. Very stand up shop.

I want to ask. why would you even consider getting the car tuned when everything wasnt set? If you are losing exhaust because of an leak, and you do fix the leak its going to effect your tune....

I needed to get the car tuned as soon as I could, the leaks weren't real bad during the tune, when he pulled the car off the dyno the y pipe hit and caused the bad leak, the tune shouldn't be affected much by the small leak I had during the tune

if it's after the turbo then it wont do any harm or anything at all with the afrs.

Yeah I talked to the tuner while I was there and he said the only thing ill have to do is back the boost off some as it will increase without the leaks. The actual tune itself should be fine, so I'm not real worried about it.

Not exactly. if it's before the turbo, it will cause slow spool. After the turbo can still cause AFR change if it's before the O2's. Anything after the O2's, it won't matter. other than annoying.

Yeah I plan on fixing the leaks as soon as possible, and I will watch my gauges to make sure everything is still alright.

Chad, its been a rough couple days trying to get down here. Alt. went out right after the dyno and today on my way to the beach my cobra r hood flew up @ 80mph and destroyed my hood and windshield and bashed in my roof. Ill be at the events but idk if my car will be. Depends if I can find a hood to put on just to make the car driveable

Wow, I have worried about that same thing on my notch with the fiberglass hood. Didnt want to run pins but really dont want that same thing happening either. Sorry to hear that

We looked around all 3 days down there and didnt see the car, hopefully the body damage isnt too bad.

Yeah I had already decided to get hood pins when I got back home but apparently I was a little too late, my new hood will be getting them asap.
Damage is estimated to be about $3500 but we will see what happens

The car was really only there saturday, I saw your green car at the drag strip and I saw you leaving the mall friday but that was it lol, hopefully next time the trip will go a little bit better

Speaking of the mall, I took it fairly easy leaving there and had no idea there was that cop in the median. Did you see him pull that red early model Mustang over in front of me? I saw him swinging out and thought I was done nailed but ended up pulling over the other guy

Haha yeah chad I saw the cop pull out, but you got lucky. Your car sounded good leaving too.
I have always taken off when I leave in the past but I didn't this year bc more cops and I almost got nailed last year leaving haha. Glad you didn't get nailed though
