Backfiring under a load

Drove my car around some today and did a WOT pull all went well until intercooler pipe came off at the maf, fixed that (thinking that's all that happend) drove it again then started getting a back fire under heavy throttle i can see it's loading up with fuel because it pegs wideband on rich side then does the backfire... So pulled back into driveway, intercooler pipe still good, but then I noticed the vacuum manifold on driverside firewall were the a/c vacuum line was the cap I had on there blew off probably on 1st drive out. Just wondering if that is my source of backfire issue?

That's the thing didn't do this until the intercooler pipe came off under boost right before the maf then the vacuum leak from the cap getting blown off the vacuum tree on driversde firewall.. Just didn't know if a vacuum leak would cause this to happen

Ya a vacuum leak will cause a backfire among other issues.
