Hey guys, there is a bunch of on3 build threads so I figured i will open up my own .

Its a stock block with the on3 kit and a turbonetics 60-1(I sooo hope it fits lol).

Mods include,

UPR C/O kit
Tokico Hp's all around
MM CC plates
Rear Sportlines
Super King Cobra clutch
GT pump
Hurst shifter

Im about done with all the suspension and hoping to start with the actual kit by mid week!

I bought Jez mini catch can, fits nice next to battery area. What is does is collect blow by oil from valve cover . It's better to have intake clean then all the blow by oil getting into the intake manifold and have detonation as when you in boost it will spit oil like crazy. I used to have breather so I know . Now I just empty about every two weeks.
Here is my setup

Most people run catch cans as 2002mustanggt said just to make sure oil doesn't go all over the engine bay. I'm gonna run breathers on my 4v to start with and just put covers over the breather to keep the oil from going out. Well see how it works, I may switch to a catch can eventually. Only reason I'm not it to try to keep the engine bay less cluttered but if you don't care about that go ahead and get a can.

aah ok so pretty much is an optional thing, I think ima stick with the breathers. You guys have a link or place where I can get them?

If i get a Pmas MAF, do i need to cut and weld or can i just stick it in there? Its the same one you have(2002) but the mounting bracket is on the down side.

When you buy Pmas maf from on3 it will come with maf housing , you need to cut a hole and mount the bracket , get it weld.

I run a catch can like 2002mustanggt . I did that because i didnt want to run boost into my valve cover on the passanger side. But it think you can get a check valve that will only flow 1 way. I also used marine JB weld to mount my MAF adaptor from On3 . I know its not the best way but its done now .I am going to be running low boost for now and that sucker is really on there.

The adaptor is already welded on there, will that adaptor fit a pmas maf?...IM STUCK!!!!!!

Alright, I started mocking up the hot side and evertything is going great!! But, im stuck with the oil drain/feed.

What size the bolt or what ever goes inside the tapped oil pan? Where can i get that piece?

Did you guys plug in the oil sensor back, or do i just leave that unplugged?

Vorga, can you hook me up with the turbosmart boost controller install instructions, please?

I have to replace that part with the shiny one provided right? lol

also you should be able to run the 1/2 hose and stretch is over the 5/8 in the pan if you had to. I would just return the 1/2 though and get the 5/8s either from us or home depot might have it

Ya your MAF adaptor is deff. diffrent than the one on3 sends out . 2002mustanggt is also right on the oil feed . You should be able to pick that stuff at ace hardware probably be less than $10 . i dont have the sizes . you can remove the allen key plug and bring that and you oil feed hose to the hardware store and get your parts based on the threads on the allen plug and oil feed hose . wish i took pics of the brass fittens before i installed them .

Also you pic with the hoses . It looks like you have a extra hose .The top hose goes to the bottom of the turbo the second hose goes to the top of your turbo . Also looking at the same pic the 90 looking brass fittin looks like it will screw into your car oil feed if it does then you have the parts you need less the hose barb for tapping the pan

Actually that fitting does fit into the oil feed, but the only problem is that it does not have another thread to put the oil sensor..

Sorry for the crappy pics..

if you dont have a bolt with a allen head in that area then you will need to get a t fittin and screw that into the hole and screw everything into the t . That might be why On3 sends out the T instead of a 90

Update!!
I finally got the oil pan tapped!!! Found that part at oreily, the oil thanks vorga =)!

Finished up mocking up the hot side and everything went in like butter!! So far no fitment issues =).

I still need the T for the oil feed, hopefully chad has a few laying around.

My next question is, what to do with this sensor(pic). Do I drill a whole on the pipe for it?? Its on the pipe that goes from the tb to the fender.

Random pics.

The new MAFs has that sensor built into it . I think you need to splice the 2 wires on that sensor into the MAF harness. i think the outer 2 pins on the MAf harness are for the temp sensor . Your going to want to chek if I am correct cuz i really dont know if im right my car is a 02 so the temp sensor is allready intergrated into the MAF

No need to worry , just loosen all bolt in hot side and cold side then turn the center part to make sure oil feed and drain is straight , you will need to clock cold side to make first cold pipe right.

Thanks man!! I got pretty much finished all of the hot side, nice and tight, and WG is installed. Everything is going in smooth and no fitment issues so far!!

Im hoping to get the cold side done tomorrow!!

Can I tee from either of these spots for the WG and BOV??..

There is one more spot that is behind the TB, but thats tapped for the boost gague already...
