new pr et tonight !!!!

went to milan dragway for a hot 80 deg test an tune. ran a new personal best of 10.7824 @ 128.24 with only a 1.6643 60 ft. i had moved the 2step up to get more boost off the line but that didnt seem to feel right. i think i was out of the convertors range and instead of flashing to the stall and launching it was kind of bogging and then catching up with itself. i started at 4200 on the 2step and 12lbs at launch and dead hooked and ran a 10.93 @ 124. on the next run i got nervous racing the black 2010 brenspeed car and left too soon and only ran a 11.000. when i started backing off the 2step my launches were getting stronger but now im starting to spin quite a bit. im going to have to test some more but i think with a better 60ft and a little practice theres a 10.40 in the future without adding any more power !!!!

1.6643 60ft
4.5605 330ft
6.9503 1/8th et
102.74 1/8th mph
9.0242 1000 et
117.80 1000 mph
10.7824 1/4 et
128.24 1/4 mph

does this look all right or is something amiss? car seem to pull very hard on the top end but kind of mushy at first.

Badass! Congrats, I knew you would get it worked out. You should be able to get your 60' down in the mid 1.4 range with some tweaking. Make sure you check your pinion angle.

What suspension is on the car?

Any idea what it weighs?

Power?

Congrats again!

Talking

yeah 1128.24 is a little high. good catch. i now have upr dbl adjustable upper and lower control arms, lakewood 5050 rear shocks and upr anti roll bar for the rear suspension. i put my arms a stock length cause im having a hard time setting my pinion angle. i guess if someone broke it down retart style i might understand. also the car weighs 3085 +/- a couple. motor is a hci with 70mm pm turbo 14lbs, c4 w/ brake, and 3.27 gears and brand new bfg dragradials.

Eh, the converters really hide our true output. My car showed 415/487 in 2008 and I ran 10.50'[email protected] for 2 years (2k8,2k9)

Swapped the stock intake and had the converter rebuilt by Redneck (I bought it used off of a completely different combo), car is at the shop now getting retuned but so far it is now making 506/540 on the same boost.

Should be fun.

Setting the pinion angle is pretty easy - I called Jeremy at UPR while I was under the car and he walked me right thru it with no problems. Went from mid 1.5 60's to mid 1.4's - I need an anti roll bar pretty bad.

Interested in seeing what the proper converter does with my 60's and mph - and the new found power
