Holley Systemax Intake

BG Custom Turbo Kit (http://bgturbokits.com/store/index.p...products_id=43)

42lb Injectors

80MM Blow Through Mass Air Meter

It all started here

One I started undoing the headers I decided to myself I would never deal with that hassle ever again.

So goodbye Headers and cats

Yanked the heads and I found this

Didnt feel like cleaning the block, heads, intake right now so I decided to start prepping for the turbo install.

Made a bit more progress, got the motor ready for the heads... I should really do something about the ugly ass engine bay
These babies are going to Mosler in the morning, found a few pits and stuff gonna have them deck them just enough to clean em up

Moved my breather tank

Ready to put my cam in
TFS Stage 1

Started rearranging my gauges, made the fuel gauge visible for tuning, never was able to see it and have to open/close the hood just to make small changes

Got the new wideband in, by the way anyone looking to buy one a few sellers on ebay have the widebands for more than 100 bucks cheaper than summit

Well I finally got some stuff done.

Stopped at Murrays and picked up some goodies

Installed the heads
90ft lbs on the top, 80 on the bottom using moly

Just waiting on the kit

kit arrived

Started fitting the kit
Had to trim the passenger side swaybar mount a bit

Well I finally got around to doing some other things, seems like everyday I have to wait till I can go to work and get stuff I need.

Got majority of the hotside done and mounted the IC

Wrapped the downpipe

More fitting but almost there

Just gotta throw the bumper back on and throw the radiator in but im gonna wait till it runs to make sure I have no major leaks or anything.

I had to buy a 3.25x 3.0 reducer to come off my tb, besides because my egr is deleted the pipe didnt even come close to reaching.
Only thing I am a bit worried about is how close the intake pipe is to the downpipe. I will get a bit more clearance I think once the tranny goes in and picks up the back end of the motor.
Also the piping on the inside of the fender is close to rubbing and I am afraid its going to rattle once the engine is running

Well I had my exhaust done today

Magnaflow mufflers

3.5" - > dual 2.5"

its amazing how quiet it is, in the car you can barely hear it running.. well until the wastegate opens up and it sounds like a dumptruck.

Might have to put a muffler on it or something.

On a side note alot of you guys were right, the dropoff between gears is horrible.. almost feels like the car shuts off between shifts.

Car is runnign abotu 10pi of boost, feels slightly slower than it did with the blower on it though, might have to up the boost.

http://s724.photobucket.com/albums/w...t=MOV02681.flv

Spent some time on the Dyno

http://s724.photobucket.com/albums/w...t=MOV02702.flv

Well shes running, I just took her out for the first time... its a weird feeling driving the auto. I ended up having to mount the 1/4 stick into the ashtray.

I had to fill in the stock shifter hole so I figured it would be a good place to put the tranny controls.

No one makes a shifter delete plate unfortunatly

Here is what I came up with..

Digging around at work I found a piece of plastic, not sure what kind.

Here it is mounted, I dont really like the way I used the screws but it works for now

Made it to the track

new pb

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fyrirst3T7E

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSgThFEeyd4

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-7ONZKIWx0

Well I decided I want to route my wastegate back into the exhaust.. tired of the #### sounding like a dumptruck under boost.
I called up Darin @ RPS and got a bunch of pipes and the fitting to go to the wastegate.

I am not the best welder by any means and I dont have a pipe bender so I am gonna do what I can, I will prolly take it to a pro welder when done and have them tig weld all the seems nicely.

I am still looking for a good way to separate it from the DP because I cant find a 1.75" band clamp... but for now I will probably just weld it in place and then cut it when the time comes.
The pipe will run under the k-member and connect into the exhaust.

More pics to come as I get further along

Finished

I decided I didnt like how the intake pipe was, the problem was my EGR delete spacer made it so the pipe didnt reach, and no one makes a 3.25-3.00 right angle long reducing silicone elbow so I redid the pipe, I also cleaned up the engine bay quite a bit.

So I wanted to redo my wastegate routing
Version 3.0!
Exhaust runs through the k-member now, used wastegate flanges for the joints

Added a V-Band to mt downpipe

I decided to move my MSD into the car, so I made a bracket for it to sit behind the glove box, once the glove box is closed you dont see it, i can easily adjust the msd and the glove box is still 100% functional

I went to a N2S Track Rental and the local photographer got these pics for me!

The way the car sits right now

good thread rich, i ran into the throttle body inlet issue, i have a list of tb's with 3" inlets and tb's with 3 1/4" inlet i argued with a local performance parts shop owner on this, he owns 2 mustangs and thought all 65 to 75mm tb's had the same inlet diameter

Running 20degrees of total timing, tuned through a diablosportchip, I deleted my PCV and put a breather tank

Really? Thats pretty frigging sad... I mean what does he think the numbers mean then? Are you sure he didnt mean the same Outside diameter?

I have a B&G kit and I have to take the whole passenger side off including the header just to change the plugs. Are you able to get the plugs off with the header on?

I used to just unhook the downpipe and get it as high as I could (which isnt very high) and then change them roughly.. now I added the v-band halfway which makes it sooooooo much easier

Yeah taking the downpipe off takes about 5min b/c I am running it open. Just unbolt it and pull it out of the engine bay. But having to pull the header is the part I hate. I can barley get a spark plug boot on the #3 plug with header on. Anyways no more hijacking the thread from me. Car looks good man. I def feel you on the no a/c. Here in Houston it gets really hot!

I bought it last August. I have the whole kit off now just so I could close the gap. The driver side is great but passenger side sucks. I even had to make a custom allen wrench so that I could get the header bolts in and out. I had to dent in some of the primarys just to get the bolts to go in.

awesome build. i am hoping mine goes that fast. i've got tfs heads with a 5 angle valve job, box intake, precision 76 mm,built turbo 400, 83# injectors with a complete fuel system, and a fast system. only real difference is my car should weigh around 2750 without me in it. find out in a couple more weeks when car comes back from getting a 10 point.
