how much power can an A1000 pump and 8AN/6AN return support with turbo???

I have a 428w going in, 9:1 compression and a lentech AOD. and i think it needs a turbo...

The fuel system i have right now is rear sump tank with A1000 pump and 8AN lines and 6an return lines.

Can i get by with 700-800 Rwhp with turbo application and this fuel system??

thanks

The Eliminator pump would be a little better at those levels.
The A1000 might keep up

do -10 to y block and run 2 -8 to the rails and -6 return and you will be pretty close to your target (say 750ish)

The a1000 will never keep up. I had an eliminator pump but the noise was awful and it had issues when hot from day one. I replaced it with a fuellab pump and so far very pleased much quieter and no over heating issues.

You didn"t say if it was carbed or injected. Makes a big difference.

^ i agree, carb / FI is a big difference, regulator is going to be different especially if your going to boost it.

I say it can on a carb motor I have a a1000 pump and a a2000 return style regulator with -8lines behind my Camaro which has a F1-r procharger running 22lbs of boost. 1030hp/896ft lbs. will be switching to another pump soon but runs great just going to add more boost and i know it cant keep up

I made 672whp. Through a th-400. I changed to a bigger blower and just added another a-1000. Mine was not quite maxed either with just one a-1000.

If i go with the weldon pump should i run 10an lines or should i keep it with 8an lines
The pump says it is for 8an.

Hard to beat Weldon. Their controller is a worthwhile investment for cruising.
