Just wanted to get a post up so that if anyone on the board had any questions with a kit or an install that they could ask. Also wanted to just let everyone know there will be a few new things coming out in the next few months and to keep an eye out. Within the next 4-5 weeks will we be releasing the new fox body 351 swapped kit. Keep an eye out for that
Also just finished up on the 3v kit for the 05+ GT cars and very happy with the outcome. Uses the stock kmember and a pretty easy straight forward install. If anyone would like photos or infomation on kits, just let me know
Current ON 3 Performance 5.0 owners: If you are just running open downpipe and looking for a mid pipe to hook into your catback, we have a solution. The kit was just fabricated and designed in three sections with an intergrated in Y pipe in the middle for easy access to still run the exhaust open or add an electric cutout without any welding.
STO Mustangs has been tuning and doing some installs with our 5.0 kits and turning some really good numbers. I will have to get the exact numbers but he was in the 520rwhp area on 11psi~ and stock head/cam car.
Any questions about the turbo systems, post up or you have our info to PM or email
Couple shots of the new 3v setup in the works. We only were on the dyno with low boost, 5psi and still made 382/404
Update: We have a new 4" core option over the standard 3" core that comes with the kits. We have proven the standard intercooler to 700wheel and would recommend the 4" core for guys at or above that level. Just an option for the people on higher hp cars. PM for pricing/details
UPDATE JUNE 23, 2010
We did an extremely limited production of the 5.0 header/crossover kits in seamless 3mm 304 stainless. They will be in stock ready to ship Friday, $149 option if you wanted to take advantage of it. Please dont let this get off track about stainless/mild steel. We have a lot of people ask and instead of telling people "no" we have an option for those now.
UPDATE: Sept. 3, 2010
We had a 2010 Mustang customer down at mustang week this year that made the kit work. Everything bolted up he said and just involved trimming on the bumper. The intercooler charge pipe could use tweaked slightly to make it perfect. That was really about it but he made it work and looks good. He took 2nd at the autocross event this year as well with it:
Update:
Just wanted to add some photos to this thread of another corral members build. Clean car and going 10's!
1/11/11 UPDATE:
Did a little write up in the general mustang section but also wanted to post it here for more exposure as well.
Figured that I would post up a little tech on a kit I was trying to build. I see a lot of guys going after the ABS and using 2 solenoids but I wanted to just use the one I had here. I know its going to trigger the ABS dash light when its locked up but that wont really bother me, it goes off after a minute or two.
Anyhow, we have a new machine that can crimp stainless steel braided hoses and wanted to put it to use. So I measured out a few lengths and found a few fitting that would work for us. The nice part is that I did this without having to cut any brake lines and without having to re-flair any of them as well. Also another cool part is that the install is so clean since there are no unions or adapters as I just used the correct metric or standard thread ends on the hoses.
Im not completely finished on it, just really have to wire it up and then Ill be done. We bleed the brakes out and everything seals up nice and as you can see, pretty clean and simple install for those that are just wrenching on their cars in the driveway. Im not actually making them yet but just wanted to see what people thought of the setup. Also I was curious going into this on how to route it and maybe this will help a few people out as well
Here are the lines just cut and testing lengths and checking end fittings:
I used the little green accents on the hoses, they can be any color but I thought it went with the car so I used them:
Going into the crimping machine and tested to 3000psi:
I mounted the line lock right beside the ABS and on the underside of the frame. There is a lot going on under my car as you can see but it installs clean and will save my rear brakes
Let me know if you guys have any questions, Im going to do the same setup on my other 2v car. Pretty sure it will just involve the same exact setup that I did here.
