maf/injector limits

OK, couples questions:

1. What is the max hp level supported with 42# injectors? what about 60# injectors?

2. Can a Lightning MAF be used in a turbo application or no? What about like a Procharger or Vortech (centrifugal) application?

3. what HP levels can a 90mm Lightning MAF support?

4. How much HP can a SVT Focus pump REALLY support by itself? How about a SVT Focus pump with a KB Boost-a-pump?

5. Can cobra pumps or Ford GT pumps just drop i nthe stock 99-04 GT fuel tank or will they need modifcations to the tank? wiring?

6. How much power will the STOCK 99-04 returnless factory Fuel Line support? what size AN line is a good replacement to step up from that?

7. What injector rails are good out there? How far can the stock rails go before maxing out?

OK, so it wasn't a few . And Im sure I could sift through pages upon pages of search. But honestly, Ive looked and seen a bunch of mixed responses and dated information. Im wanting what the guys USING this stuff are, well, USING lol.

Thanks in advance!

I have no idea how much power I plan on making but honestly, I don't want to buy 2 setf o injectors. Kinda dumb lol.

I just wanted the opinion because theres an L-maf for sale locally cheap. if its not any good ill just save for like a SCT big air or something.

I don't know about the MAF stuff - a good boosted setup will be running Speed Density instead of MAF anyway.
As far as injectors go, you can figure it out yourself using this formula:

IFW = (HP * BSFC)/(n * IDC)
where:
IFW = injector flow, in lb/hr
HP = target horsepower
BSFC = Brake Specific Fuel Consumption, typically between .55 and .60 for a boosted car
n = number of injectors
IDC = Injector Duty Cycle; I don't like going above 80%.

Knowing that, you can rearrange it to extract HP from a known flow #.

Same with the fuel pump ; you can figure how much fuel your pump needs to supply using the formula:
FC = (HP/740)*60
Where:
FC = Fuel Pump Capacity (gph)
HP = Projected Horsepower

GPH to LPH conversion:
LPH = GPH * 3.78

Thats a lot of pressure assuming 1-1 boost referenced regulator.

How much injectors will handle depends on the pump you run too.

Would def. want to make sure you run a high pressure pump.
So that it will still flow right at those higher pressures.

i would think if you are asking how much hp a 60lbs injector can handle, you will probably have the pump part of it covered..
